On July 4th, we learned from the official sources that the Denza N7, a mid size SUV under the Denza brand, has launched a new round of OTA upgrades, adding features such as national no map high-speed navigation, valet parking (applicable to the optional advanced intelligent driving package model), and sentry mode (for the 2024 Denza N7), bringing a more intelligent and convenient experience in daily use.
Among them, the national high-speed navigation will not rely on traditional high-precision maps, but will achieve safer, more flexible, and accurate driving assistance through the perception and decision-making system of the vehicle itself, truly achieving nationwide high-speed driving and bringing users a new experience of intelligent driving.
The main content of OTA upgrade:
1. New national map free high-speed navigation function has been added, based on high-precision perception hardware and self-developed high-precision intelligent driving domain control platform. Through precise perception algorithms, dynamic real-time road structure and topology information are constructed to achieve national map free high-speed navigation that does not rely on high-precision maps and can be driven with roads. On highways and expressways, vehicles can complete driving tasks such as up and down ramps, overtaking, merging, and obstacle avoidance according to the navigation planning path, alleviating manual driving fatigue for drivers.
2. New advanced valet parking function has been added. After the vehicle recognizes and selects a parking space, the user can lock the car. The system will control the vehicle to autonomously search for directions throughout the entire journey, complete parking and storage, and facilitate travel.
3. New Sentinel mode (2024 Denza N7) has been added. After the owner temporarily leaves the vehicle and locks it, the Sentinel mode will automatically start. When the vehicle encounters incidents such as collision, window damage, or malicious spraying, the owner will be notified in a timely manner through the mobile app; When a risk is about to occur or is occurring, the car’s infotainment system lights up the central control warning message, flashes lights, honks, and plays music to warn/deter intruders.
4. New red light countdown function has been added. After the navigation is turned on, the red light countdown and green wave vehicle speed will be displayed on the instrument panel and central control screen.
5. New voice guidance for opening mobile NFC car keys has been added. For the process of opening mobile NFC car keys, Denza N7 provides users with thoughtful voice guidance. Through mobile app voice and in car intelligent voice, it improves the success rate of users opening mobile NFC car keys and helps users start a convenient car life.
