From a side view, the design of this brand new pickup truck leans towards a fashionable style, and this set of official photos combined with young people’s photography also showcases its main target audience characteristics. This time, two types of car paint were displayed, white and blue. We can also see that it is equipped with roof luggage racks, gantry racks, black body kits, etc., adding a wild atmosphere.
From the previously exposed actual car images, it can be seen that this car has recognition at the front and rear, such as the huge BYD letter logo on the grille, the rough shape of the headlights on both sides, and the through style tail lights and the corresponding headlight design at the rear.
In the interior of the car, this new car is equipped with a personalized multifunctional steering wheel, a full LCD instrument panel, and a suspended central control screen. In addition, a large number of physical buttons are retained in the shift lever area, giving it a rugged style.
In terms of power, BYD SHARK is expected to offer two power systems: plug-in hybrid and pure electric. The new car is built on the DMO platform, which is known as the Super Hybrid Off road Platform in Chinese. It is an electric driven off-road platform. According to previous reports, the platform is compatible with two different displacement engines, 1.5T and 2.0T, and also supports functions such as 6kW external discharge, 20kW on-site charging, V2V (vehicle to vehicle) charging and rescue. In addition, the new car is expected to be equipped with hydraulic active suspension system, streaming rearview mirrors and other functions.
