In Changchun, Northeast China, let me tell you whether the battery life of BYD Seagull is broken.
Yesterday was the 10th day after I picked up the car. In the Northeast winter, I encountered very warm weather, with the highest temperature reaching 8 degrees above zero. It was simply luxurious warmth. I arranged a full day’s itinerary, and the weather is as shown in the picture below:
One of the most important things is that, taking advantage of the warmer temperatures, I attached a floating roof to my little seagull. Where I live, the temperature is low in winter, and many people are hesitant about pure electric vehicles. The owner of the film shop saw Seagull for the first time, and several craftsmen admired it together and praised the car for how beautiful it was! I was overjoyed on the sidelines! The masters were very attentive and took nearly 3 hours to apply the film. They were very satisfied and even took a photo together at the end.
I drove in Changchun city all day long, and for the first time I deeply felt the vastness of Changchun. I set off with a full charge and traveled 91.5 kilometers. Since I was wearing a lot of clothes and the weather wasn’t too cold, the air conditioner was only turned on to level 1. My car is the mid-range 305 model. When I got home at night, it showed that the remaining dynamic range was 177 kilometers and the remaining power was 62%.

Not sure if my calculation method is correct, but the battery life completion rate should be close to 80%. Although I can’t compare the energy consumption with the riders in the south, the performance of the Little Seagull has exceeded my imagination. You know, this is winter in the Northeast.
