Recently, we learned from BYD officials that the brand has pushed a 1.3 version OTA upgrade to the BYD Tang DM-i series models (previously only pushing this version to the 2022 BYD Tang DM-p model). This upgrade mainly adds positioning service settings and parking four door unlocking function, while optimizing the user experience of seat heating function.

At present, the BYD Tang DM-i series (including DM-i and DM-p models) has a total of 7 configuration models for sale, with an official guide price of 179800 to 269800 yuan. In the plug-in hybrid mid size SUV segment market, the BYD Tang DM-i has temporarily ranked first in sales in the past half of the year with a record of 53948 units, followed by the Lynk&Co 08 EM-P (43493 units) and the BYD FCB 5 (18885 units), indicating that there is still some market space in this segment market.
