During the evening of April 22nd, at the NETA L new car launch event, the officials officially announced the NETA S Hunting Edition. The upcoming vehicle is scheduled to premiere at the Beijing Auto Show and is positioned as a mid-to-large-sized pure electric vehicle. It has been built on the Shanhai 2.0 platform, and we can expect substantial enhancements in terms of overall product strength, especially in intelligence and comfort, when comparing it to the Shanhai 1.0 platform models.

In terms of appearance, the front design of the NETA S Hunting Edition is consistent with the NETA S, featuring split-type headlights with LED daytime running lights in a dotted line pattern, which gives it a distinctive look. The only difference is the addition of chrome grille decoration on the lower part of the front intake surface. In terms of dimensions, the new vehicle measures 4980/1980/1480mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2980mm.

The side profile of the vehicle is sleek, with a visual center of gravity positioned towards the rear, creating an elegant touring car style. Additionally, a small protrusion on the top of the vehicle indicates the presence of a lidar sensor. Regarding the chassis, the new vehicle adopts the Haozhi skateboard chassis technology and features an integrated die-cast front/rear body and an integrated energy compartment design. Furthermore, we can expect the new vehicle to include an air suspension. In terms of the rear design, it features the same continuous taillight design as the NETA S, complemented by the addition of a spoiler above. Notably, the rear section of the roof maintains a traditional touring car style without excessive downward design, resulting in increased headroom for rear passengers.

In terms of power, the NETA S Hunting Edition will adopt an 800V high-voltage architecture with a SiC (silicon carbide) multi-in-one motor. The maximum power output of the pure electric rear-wheel-drive version will reach 250kW. The extended-range version of the vehicle will feature a new 1.5L Atkinson cycle engine, along with an upgraded flat-wire generator matched with the engine. These improvements will lead to higher electricity generation efficiency and an enhanced fuel-to-electricity conversion rate of 3.26kWh/L.
