The new BYD Han model continues the design of the current model. The key changes this time include the upgrade of DM5.0 technology to the Han DM-i model, and the optional installation of LiDAR on the Han DM-i and Han EV models.
In terms of appearance and interior, the new Han Du will continue the design of the current model. It can be noted that both the new Han DM-i and Han EV will be equipped with laser radar as an optional feature. At the same time, a rear camera can also be installed, which is suspected to be upgraded to a streaming rearview mirror.
Previously, it was reported that BYD’s intelligent driving system will also be installed in the upgraded models. The 150000 yuan model will use DJI Intelligent Driving, the 200000 yuan model will use Horizon Technology, and the over 300000 yuan model will use Vision+Lidar Technology. Meanwhile, the price of the new model may not increase significantly compared to the current one.
In terms of power, the new Han DM-i will adopt DM5.0 technology, equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 115 kW and a motor with a maximum power of 200 kW, matched with a Fodi lithium iron phosphate blade battery. It is expected that the fuel economy of the new car will be pleasantly surprised.
