In June, the SAIC Volkswagen ID. family delivered 10572 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 170%, becoming the best-selling joint venture brand in the first half of the year. From January to June, the cumulative sales volume reached 61051 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 148%, ranking first in the sales volume of joint venture brands.
In response to consumer concerns about the preservation of electric vehicles, SAIC Volkswagen has launched ID Care preservation package, promising to repurchase all models of ID. family at 60% of the car price within three years. This measure reduces the gap between the purchase price of the new car and the final selling price, allowing the ID. family to maintain high value even after long-term use. In the first half of the year, the order volume of ID.3 increased by 300% year-on-year, demonstrating strong growth potential. As of early June, the cumulative sales of ID.3 since its launch at the end of 2021 have exceeded 150000 units.
Looking ahead to the second half of 2024, the ID. family will continue to focus on youthfulness and rely on high-quality products to steadily increase sales.
