On July 1st, Li Auto released delivery data for June 2024, delivering a total of 47774 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 46.7%. In the second quarter of 2024, a total of 108581 vehicles were delivered, a year-on-year increase of 25.5%. As of June 30, 2024, the cumulative delivery volume of Li Auto has reached 822345 vehicles, ranking first in the total delivery volume of new Chinese brands.
Li Xiang, Chairman and CEO of Li Auto, stated that the sales potential of the Li Auto L series will continue to increase in June. The monthly delivery volume of the Li Auto L6 has successfully exceeded 20000 units, and the monthly delivery volume of all products in the series has exceeded 40000 units.
Since the second quarter, under the dual effects of the launch of the new model Li Auto L6 and the improvement of store efficiency, Li Auto has returned to the top of China’s new force brand sales rankings and won the sales champion of Chinese automotive brands in the new energy vehicle market with a price of over 200000 yuan. After its launch on March 1st this year, Li Auto MEGA was affected by negative information, resulting in a month on month decline in sales in April, which has had a certain impact on sales. However, the Li Auto L6 was subsequently launched in late April and began mass delivery in May, achieving a steady recovery in Li Auto sales.
In May, the sales of Li Auto L6 have exceeded 10000 units, reaching 12965 units. In June, the sales of Li Auto L6 exceeded 20000 units, greatly boosting Li Auto’s sales confidence. I believe that Li Auto’s sales will continue to grow in the second half of the year.
