Recently, we learned from an interview with Leapmotor founder Zhu Jiangming that Leapmotor cars “will release A-class cars priced at 100000 yuan next year, which may be equipped with LiDAR and urban NOA functions.”
This news has shocked the editor, but it is not entirely impossible. Let’s first take a look at the Leapmotor C16, which will be released on June 28th. The rooftop model is equipped with LiDAR, 800V high-voltage platform pure electric power, 8295 chip, and navigation function.
It is reported that the price of the top model will remain within 200000 yuan, and the above configurations are among the best in the same class. This is a “possible speculation”. The shocking part is that the price of “100000 yuan” may be a “100000 yuan” product, or an entry-level model worth 100000 yuan.
Personally, I believe that “100000 yuan” is actually a range. If 100000 yuan is truly as the literal meaning suggests, then the cost of making a car or the profit of Leapmotor may seem a bit heartbreaking when viewed in the present. What is your opinion on this?
