Recently, Avita announced its delivery data for May. In May, Avita delivered 4569 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 163% and a month on month decrease of 12.92%. A total of 24348 new cars were delivered from January to May this year.
Previously, Avita’s management actively adjusted its salary structure, and dozens of directors and above collectively signed new salary agreements. After the adjustment, the monthly revenue of the management is directly linked to sales, and the floating ratio has been increased. At the same time, the management has added an additional 10000 units to the year-end sales target. This year, Avita’s sales target will reach 100000 units. However, based on current progress, the target achievement rate is less than a quarter.
Another media recently reported that Avita will fully transform from a direct sales model to a distributor model, retaining only direct stores in core cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Currently, the channel model transformation has been basically completed. For the time being, Beijing will still adopt a direct sales model, but it may also shift towards a distributor model in the future.
“Our city experience center will not be closed, but the business entity has changed from Avita to distributors, in order to alleviate business pressure and rely on the distributor group to quickly open up more markets,” Avita staff said.
In terms of products, Avita will launch two new models, E15 and E16, and four extended range power models in 2024. This means that the Avita extended range power will cover four models: 11, 12, E15, and E16.
It is understood that E15 is a new SUV model under the Avita brand, which is expected to be launched in the third quarter; E16 is a sedan model that is expected to be launched and sold in the fourth quarter. Both new cars will be available in pure electric and extended range versions. With the launch of new cars, the combination of pure electric and range extenders, and channel expansion, Avita’s sales are expected to further increase.
