The all-new Denza N7 has aggressively priced its 2024 models, ranging from ¥239,800 to ¥329,800.
New Denza N7(2024) Launches with ¥70K Price Reduction
Firstly, let’s talk about the pricing. Compared to the previous model’s price range of ¥301,800 to ¥379,800, there has been a significant reduction of ¥50,000 to ¥70,000.
When considering the adjustments in features, particularly the transition from optional to standard inclusion of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and the limited-time benefit of ¥10,000 for every ¥2,000 spent, the overall price reduction amounts to ¥60,000 to ¥80,000 compared to the 2023 models.
Secondly, let’s discuss the features. The new models offer four variants, all of which come with standard features such as a 16-speaker DiVaLei audio system, a 17.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display, heated and ventilated massage seats in the front row, and DiPilot ADAS. In this aspect, the new lineup is on par with emerging brands, offering a simplified and comprehensible
Denza N7 2024: Unveiling Competitive Pricing and Enhanced Features
Denza’s new N7 series introduces the entry-level 550 Pro model with a 71.8 kWh battery, a new addition to the lineup that previously featured a single battery option of 91.3 kWh. The 550 Pro model now includes standard ADAS features, previously offered as a ¥15,000 option known as the “High-Speed Package.” Powered by the NVIDIA ORIN N chip with 85 TOPS computing power and equipped with 31 sensors, it supports high-speed ADAS functionality.
Priced at ¥259,800, the 2024 702 Pro model distinguishes itself from the 550 Pro primarily in terms of battery capacity. This configuration aligns with the previous 2023 Extended Range model, which was priced at ¥319,800. While the 702 Pro model may lack certain features like air suspension, heads-up display (HUD), and adjustable backrest, it compensates with additions such as Sentry Mode, 50W wireless charging, reserved on-board ETC, and adjustable damping Cloud Chariot C. This configuration offers better cost-effectiveness compared to the 2023 Extended Range (AIR) model priced at ¥309,800.
The N7 lineup also includes two four-wheel drive models. The top-tier 2024 630 Ultra Pro model, priced at ¥329,800, surpasses the previous top configuration while being ¥50,000 more affordable. It now includes the previously optional advanced ADAS package, DiPilot 300. Powered by the NVIDIA ORIN X chip with 254 TOPS computing power, the 630 Ultra Pro features dual LiDAR sensors and a total of 33 sensors, supporting City ADAS functionalities.
The 2024 630 Max Pro model, another four-wheel drive variant, sacrifices certain features found in the Ultra Pro version, such as seat ventilation, massage functionality, electrically adjustable backrest angles, and the center armrest screen. However, this trade-off results in a significant ¥40,000 reduction in price. With a price tag of ¥289,800, the 630 Max Pro model, equipped with four-wheel drive and Cloud Chariot A, offers better value for money compared to the Ultra Pro variant.
With its aggressive pricing strategy, the all-new Denza N7 aims to achieve two objectives. Firstly, it competes with two-wheel drive models like the Tesla Model Y, Zhiji LS6, Nio ES6 (base model), and Xiaopeng G6. Secondly, it challenges higher-end models, including the top configurations of the Nio ES6, by offering compelling four-wheel drive options. By enhancing the standard inclusion of advanced ADAS hardware and replacing previous optional ADAS packages, Denza seeks to establish a more intelligent brand image and compete comprehensively with emerging high-end brands.
