NIO Hits 100M Swaps

According to reports, NIO has completed 100 million battery swaps, accumulating 5.28 billion kWh of electricity. Compared to charging, this is equivalent to saving users 83.41 million hours, or an average of over 88 hours per user; compared to refueling, it is equivalent to saving users over 26.3 billion yuan, or an average of over 27,000 yuan per user.

Compared to equivalent gasoline vehicles, 100 million battery swaps have cumulatively reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 4,169.5 tons, equivalent to the annual carbon absorption of 167,000 trees. Through participation in grid interaction, NIO has smoothed peak and off-peak demand by over 740 million kWh, alleviating grid pressure and improving energy utilization efficiency.

As of February 6, 2026, NIO has built a total of 8,627 charging and battery swapping stations nationwide, including 3,729 battery swapping stations, with over 1,020 located in highway service areas, and has connected to 42,590 third-party charging piles.

Previously, NIO announced that it expects to achieve its first quarterly profit since its founding in the fourth quarter of 2025, with adjusted operating profit between 700 million and 1.2 billion yuan, marking its first quarterly profit. In 2025, NIO's total annual deliveries were approximately 326,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of nearly 47%, and January 2026 deliveries surged by 96.1% year-on-year to 27,182 vehicles.
