Recently, NIO released its monthly operational report on autonomous driving. In March 2024, NIO added 11,816 new users of autonomous driving, bringing the total number of users to 307,783. Among them, the number of users utilizing the Global Navigation Pilot (GNP) with Navigation on Pilot (NOP+) reached 193,174. The cloud computing power of the autonomous driving system increased by 11.5 trillion operations per second (EOPS), reaching a total computing power of 232.21 EOPS.
In terms of real-world road validation, NIO added 22.6 million kilometers of validation in March, representing a 442% month-on-month growth. The total validated mileage has reached 63.436 million kilometers, and the validation speed continues to increase. Users of autonomous driving covered a monthly mileage of 59.23 million kilometers, with a total mileage of 849 million kilometers.
Currently, the available road mileage for GNP+ exceeds 1.08 million kilometers, covering 99% of cities in mainland China, totaling 726 cities.
Additionally, NIO officially announced the completion of the “Great Wall Plus Electric Scenic Route.” Official sources state that the Great Wall Plus Electric Scenic Route covers a total distance of 5,199 kilometers (10,398 li) and features 88 charging and swapping stations. These stations comprise 31 swapping stations and 57 charging stations, with an average spacing of one station every 59 kilometers.
As of April 2024, NIO has successfully completed a total of 75 domestic routes, including the Sichuan-Qinghai-Tibet, Silk Road, Kanas, Duku, Western Sichuan Grand Loop, Hulunbuir Grassland, Shenzhou Arctic, Huaxia Easternmost, and Great Wall routes. Furthermore, NIO has completed one European route, providing a collection of highly sought-after routes.
