There are not many new power car models in the plug-in hybrid market segment, and most of them are products launched by traditional car companies. Overall, they are not as popular as the pure electric market. The Lynk&Co 07 EM-P, as a plug-in hybrid sedan priced around 200000 yuan, is mainly competing with the BYD Seal DM-i and Roewe D7 DMH. The BYD Seal DM-i has always had good sales and attention, making it the most direct competitor to the Lynk&Co 07 EM-P. Although the Roewe D7 DMH may not have as high popularity and sales as the BYD Seal, SAIC Group’s plug-in hybrid technology is also very strong, making it a competitive model that cannot be ignored.
The Lynk&Co brand had only one compact sedan available for sale before, the Lynk&Co 03, which is a model with a more sporty and playful nature. The upcoming Lynk&Co 07 EM-P, while retaining its sporty attributes, has larger space and richer technology/multimedia entertainment configurations. The balance of product attributes is more inclined towards home use and comfort. Plug in hybrid power can balance urban commuting and long-distance travel, making it a family car worth considering.
