The Star Era ET, as a high-end new energy pure electric mid to large SUV created by Chery, is based on Chery’s new E0X global electric platform. Relying on the full range 800V platform, it can supplement the range of 400km after charging for 10 minutes. The pure electric version has a maximum range of 760km, and an extended range power version is also launched.
On May 4th, Huang Zhaogen, the General Manager of Xingtu Marketing Center, announced through social media that the order for Star Era ET has exceeded 13000+units, and stated that the new car will be officially launched in Guangzhou on May 9th. Star Era ET started pre-sale on April 15th, with a pre-sale price starting at 199000 yuan.
The appearance of the Star Age ET continues the family design language of the Star Age, with a closed grille and a continuous LED daytime running light group on the front face. The ventilation and heat dissipation openings on both sides of the front bumper effectively integrate the high and low beam light groups, and also have lighting interaction functions.
The slightly raised waistline on the side creates a diving posture, with a body length, width, and height of 4955, 1975, and 1698mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 3000mm, positioning it as a mid size SUV.
The overall design of the rear of the car is smooth and rounded, with continuous flowing taillights echoing the front face, containing 262 LED beads, which have good recognition when lit up.
The interior incorporates the “Welcome Home” ultra comfortable home design concept, equipped with a full LCD instrument panel, a dual spoke multifunction steering wheel, and a 15.6-inch 2.5K central control screen. The interior is equipped with intelligent home voice based on the Lion AI model, including 20 smart home scenes such as car home interconnection, baby mode, pet mode, and karaoke mode.
Star Era ET has launched two power options: a pure electric version and an extended range version. The pure electric version offers two power systems, single motor and dual motor. The single motor version has a maximum power of 230kW and a peak torque of 425Nm; The comprehensive power of the dual motor PRO version is 353kW, and the acceleration time from 0 to 100km/h is 4.7 seconds; The comprehensive power of the dual motor Ultra version reaches 413kW, and the acceleration from 0-100km/h only takes 3.8 seconds; The battery comes in two capacity specifications: 77kWh and 100kWh. The extended range version is equipped with a 1.5T range extender and an electric motor to form an extended range system.
