Recently, FCB officially released official spy photos of the Super 3 model, which can show the rough appearance of the new car in mass production. It is a mid size pure electric SUV, the third model in the BYD FCB “583 hardcore family”, and also the first pure electric model under BYD FCB. The official stated that the expected price of the car is starting at 220000 CNY.
This spy photo shows three cars, representing three different versions. From the spy photos, it can be seen that the front headlights and grille design of the new car are quite similar to the previously released SUPER 3 concept car. The grille is expected to be a closed grille, with thick decorative strips on both sides. According to the previously exposed promotional video, it will have a continuous light group. The front bumper of the new car has been strictly disguised, and from the contour, it will use trapezoidal elements to enhance the sense of fashion.
Coming to the side, this car has a straight body line, giving it a compact and sleek appearance. It is equipped with hidden door handles, and the protruding wheel arches reflect a tough atmosphere. The length of the new car may exceed 4600mm, and the wheelbase may reach 2750mm. From spy photos, the rear of the car appears in two shapes: a semi wrapped spare tire and an external small backpack. Production models may offer multiple optional configurations.
BYD FCB Super 3 will offer a dual motor four-wheel drive version with a maximum power expected to exceed 310kW. It will be officially launched this year and is expected to start at a price of 220000 CNY.
