The Xiaomi SU7 is positioned as a pure electric mid to large vehicle, with a price range of 215900 to 299900 yuan. Previously, Xiaomi Group stated that it expects the monthly delivery volume of new cars for the Xiaomi SU7 series to exceed 10000 in June 2024. By the end of 2024, Xiaomi’s sales and service network is planned to reach 219 sales stores, covering 46 cities; 143 service centers, covering 86 cities, basically covering all provinces (including autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) in Chinese Mainland.

1.Ten cities for urban NOA
The most eye-catching feature in this update is the newly added “City Navigation Assistance” function. It is reported that as long as users meet the “intelligent driving safety mileage” conditions, they can experience urban navigation assistance driving on the main roads in the core areas of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Chengdu, Xi’an, Nanjing, and Suzhou. This feature will be prioritized for car owners who have accumulated a safe driving distance of 1000km for intelligent driving, in order to give back to these experienced users.
2.Rest mode
It is understood that Xiaomi has also innovated in parking space and launched a “nap mode”. This mode can provide users with a comfortable rest environment and integrates linkage functions such as quick alarm clock, seat adjustment memory, and Xiaomi phone do not disturb mode, greatly improving the user experience.
3.Multiple convenient functions
In addition, in order to deepen the ecological experience of people, cars, and homes, Xiaomi Motors has also implemented multiple convenient functions in the new version. For example, the rear pad map can now add waypoints, modify destinations, and these operations can be synchronized to the front screen (only supported by Xiaomi Pad). Meanwhile, the Xiaomi walkie talkie 3 can now be controlled through the steering wheel buttons to achieve hands-free intercom. Users can also connect to Bluetooth game controllers to enjoy the fun of gaming on the large screen.
4.Smart device connectivity
In terms of smart device connectivity, the new version has also brought significant improvements. After connecting to the vehicle hotspot on Xiaomi’s mobile phone, users can quickly share the location to the vehicle through the system sharing function in apps such as Gaode Map, Baidu Map, Meituan, and Dianping. At the same time, the smart device app now supports importing categories such as lighting, curtains, environment, cameras, etc. from Mi Home, further integrating the interactive experience between smart homes and in car systems.
The upgrade method
Regarding the upgrade method, users can receive the push update information through the vehicle terminal and click “Update Now”, or select “System>System Version” in the vehicle settings and click “Version Update” to upgrade. At the same time, users can also click on the version update prompt on the “Vehicles” page of the Xiaomi Auto App to upgrade.
