A few days ago, the Destroyer 05 Champion Edition, a compact car under BYD Ocean.com, was officially launched. The new car has 5 configurations, including 55KM luxury model at $14,711.8, 55KM premium model at $16,446, 120KM premium model at $18,613.8, and 120KM honor model at $19,914. The 120KM flagship model is $21,504. The new car has undergone many upgrades to its exterior color matching, interior details, comfort and technology configuration, and is expected to be launched in May.
The appearance of the new car will continue the current model. The front face adopts the family design of the warship series, and the blackened air intake grille is equipped with a large number of chrome-plated banners. The side of the body is still simple and clean as a whole. The outside of the window is surrounded by chrome-plated trim and matched with double five-spoke wheels. In terms of body size, refer to the current model, the length, width and height are 4780/1837/1495mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2718mm. In terms of the rear, the overall rear shape of the new car is similar to that of the Qin PLUS, with the through-type taillights matched with the Build Your Dream logo above.
In terms of interior, the color of the 120KM model’s seats, steering wheel stitching and air-conditioning trim is upgraded to glazed jade blue, and the steering wheel and central control panel area are upgraded to matte materials. In addition, the new car is equipped with a 12.8-inch adaptive rotating suspension pad, a full-scene digital key and other intelligent technology configurations, and supports iPhone and Apple Watch devices, and can support up to 16 NFC digital keys.
In terms of configuration, all new cars come standard with rear exhaust air vents, one-button start, electric adjustment of exterior mirrors + heating, automatic air conditioning and other configurations. The 120KM top model Shuxiang has also added a front seat heating function.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a DM-i plug-in hybrid system with a maximum engine power of 110 horsepower and a maximum torque of 135 Nm. The new car will have two power versions, the maximum power is 180 horsepower and 197 horsepower, and the maximum torque is 316 N/m and 325 N/m. The new car will be equipped with DM-i super-hybrid power-type blade batteries, and the WLTC pure electric cruising range is 55km and 120km respectively.
