On May 4, BYD officially released the official image of the Song Pro DM-i champion version, adding the appearance color of “Yuanshanqing”.
The new car has been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology before. As a champion version model, it is mainly upgraded for the front face. Compared with the current model, it is more personalized. It will be launched in the second quarter.
The front grille of the new car has changed from the previous through-style trim to a staggered grille similar to that of the Song Plus DM-i. The interior is decorated with chrome elements, which is more fashionable. Moreover, the new car retains the matte chrome-plated trim above the grille that runs through the light groups on both sides, which is highly recognizable.
In terms of body size, its length, width and height are 4738/1860/1710mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2712mm.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a hybrid system composed of BYD’s 1.5L engine and drive motor. The maximum power of the engine is 81 kW, and the maximum power of the drive motor is 145 kW.
