At present, Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automotive Product Recalls and the Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automotive Product Recalls. It has been decided to recall a total of 2393 imported Kia Jirui hybrid vehicles produced between October 4, 2016 and October 30, 2018, starting from June 18, 2024.

A total of 2393 imported Kia Jirui hybrid vehicles were produced between October 4, 2016 and October 30, 2018.
Reason for recall:
Some vehicles within the scope of this recall have a risk of fire due to the possibility of foreign objects flowing into the connector of the hydraulic engine clutch actuator (HCA) during manufacturing or transportation, resulting in a short circuit on the internal substrate of the connector.
Solution:
Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will provide free inspection of HCA and replacement of improved HCA fuses for recalled vehicles through authorized repair stations. If there are fault codes in HCA, the HCA assembly will be replaced free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will notify car owners through authorized repair stations through registered mail, text messages, phone calls, and other means.
