Recently, XPeng Motors announced its official entry into the Australian market. In the fourth quarter of 2024, the XPeng G6 model will be officially launched locally. The official stated that it has reached an exclusive cooperation agreement with True EV in Australia.
The XPeng G6 is positioned as a global product, and it is also XPeng’s first model that combines left and right wheel drive. It has launched right-hand drive versions for multiple countries such as Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, and plans to start delivery within this year.
As of now, XPeng Motors has announced the establishment of dealer partnerships in multiple regions including the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Macau. During the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, He XPeng, Chairman and CEO of XPeng Motors, stated in a media interview, “This year, we hope to expand XPeng Motors’ export range from the original three countries to over twenty countries.” In the first quarter of 2024, XPeng Motors’ cumulative export sales reached 61.8% of the total export volume in 2023.
