In the fiercely competitive SUV market, it was recently rumored that Xiaomi was working on developing the next generation of SUVs. Now, some netizens have caught a suspected disguised model of Xiaomi’s new car. Is Xiaomi SUV about to emerge?

Recently, multiple netizens shared spy photos on Weibo claiming to be of the Xiaomi SUV model. Although the vehicle in the photos is covered by a large area of camouflage stickers and black camouflage fabric, making it difficult to distinguish the brand and some details of the vehicle, judging from the outline prototype of the model, the proportion of the front of this camouflage car is somewhat similar to the long front design of the Xiaomi SU7.

Near the rear of the vehicle, it seems that the U-shaped tail lights of the same model as the SU7 can also be found. In addition, the roof of the camouflage car is also the same as the SU7 roof, equipped with a suspected elliptical LiDAR device. Therefore, many netizens believe that it is a camouflage vehicle of Xiaomi’s new SUV.

In addition, many netizens also compared the disguised car with the Ferrari Purosangue in terms of design, stating that both adopt a long front and short rear coupe style design, as well as a five spoke forged wheel frame and yellow brake calipers. However, prior to this, there were rumors that Xiaomi SUVs would be developed based on the Porsche Cayenne. Now, the suspected disguised car model has been exposed, which looks not like a Porsche but rather a Ferrari, and has also attracted discussions among many netizens.

However, it cannot be determined whether this disguised car is indeed Xiaomi’s recreational vehicle. According to foreign media speculation, Xiaomi may launch three new cars in the next three years, and the highly anticipated SUV model is highly likely to start production only after Xiaomi’s Beijing assembly plant is completed. It is believed that Xiaomi’s first SUV will not be launched until 2025 at the earliest.
