Not long ago, NIO Navigation Assistance NOP/NOP+users had a cumulative mileage of 1 billion kilometers and became the first navigation assistance driving product in China with a total mileage exceeding 1 billion kilometers. It is reported that in September 2020, NIO released China’s first navigation assistance driving product (NOP); In October 2022, NIO released enhanced navigation assistance NOP+; In September 2023, NOP+entered the urban area from the highway, providing comprehensive navigation assistance to achieve full coverage of high-speed, urban, parking, and battery swapping scenarios; In April 2024, NIO launched a comprehensive navigation assistance NOP+urban route to all users of the second-generation platform.
In terms of cumulative user mileage, in September 2023, the total mileage of NIO Navigation assisted driving users reached 500 million kilometers, which took three years; On June 10, 2024, the total mileage of navigation assistance exceeded 1 billion kilometers, taking only 273 days. Previously, NIO released a report on intelligent driving operations in May, stating that the monthly user intelligent driving mileage exceeded 100 million kilometers, of which the navigation assisted driving mileage reached 76.94 million kilometers, accounting for 72.7% of the intelligent driving mileage. At present, NIO has over 520000 intelligent driving users, and the total available mileage for intelligent driving road verification exceeds 1.39 million kilometers, including over 1.03 million kilometers in urban areas, covering 726 cities nationwide.
